Hi, excuse me, do you have a working example to generate the secure link on php? I have not knowledge of php and it could be great to have this kind of help.

    Thanks in advance.

Is there a way to add another argument to the link, let’ say IP address to the secure link?

    Hello RobinJack0r,

Thank you a lot for the NGINX-RTMP Tutorials you posted. Really helped me a lot to get the basic setup done :)

Is it possible, that you can post a tutorial on how to configure the RTMP Module in a way, so that Streamers have a key and the Visitors have a key?

I would like to create a small Streaming Service and do not want to expose the Streamer Key to the public :/

    Greetings,

    Maxunit

      Hey,
I am probably not the best expert on these security stuff, but I can try to do it. It will be a while though probably, currently its exam time at the university.

Maybe you could also talk to e7d, he created this:
I am not sure if he added security stuff already but he probably will have to sooner or later. So maybe you can work together to create a server setup.

      Greetings Jack

    Hi Robin,
    thanks for this info
but what will happen once the timer expires ?
will the link be auto-generated by default once one hour of play will have passed ?

will a 2nd user see the channel/video if the 1st user share the URL with him ?

    • RobinJack0r says:

If the link expires while you are still connected you can probably keep on using the connection. But I would have to actually test that before I can say it 100% safe. In this case the link is not auto generated, but the example commands could be used in a php script for example to create an automatic key supply.
Two or more users using one key should be possible but remember you probably should set different keys for the streamer and viewer so a viewer can only watch :)
